If you are looking to travel beyond downtown, you can head over to Durham Station and take the bus (Durham Area Transit Authority, Triangle Transit and Greyhound are all housed in the Station). A FREE Downtown Circulator will also begin running in late 2009 to connect Downtown, Duke University, Duke Hospital, Ninth Street, NCCU and Golden Belt. A new Amtrak station in the West Village Complex also provides train service through downtown and connects Durham to the rest of the country.

Parking is available throughout Downtown Durham via on-street parking, parking decks and parking lots. On-street parking is free in downtown, with time limits depending on location.
